Job Description for Assistant Restaurant Supervisor, Rye

Webbe's at the Fish Cafe is looking to recruit a full-time Assistant Restaurant Supervisor. We are located in Rye and only a 5 minute walk from the bus stop and train station.

Salary: £25 to £28K to be further discussed at interview in line with experience.

Working alongside the manager, you will play an intrinsic role to the seamless running of the restaurant. This will be a hands-on role which will involve serving guests, running the restaurant (taking orders, cashing up, using ResDiary booking system and EPOS billing system), updating timesheets, training staff and responding to all customer’s needs. You will also need to be able to handle email enquiries and help to maintain  some office duties.

Experience is essential, especially if you've worked with seafood and fish - our food speciality, however you will receive On-Job training about our menus, and Ethos. It's a busy restaurant especially in the summer season so you need to be motivated, able to multi-task and have the ability to work under pressure and be organised. Excellent customer care is expected,  efficient & effective communication skills are essential.
